90-day emergency program for homeless families. The goal of the program is to serve families who are committed to rebuilding their lives, and enable them to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Serves eight to ten families (between 24 to 30 individuals at any given time, depending on family structure). Participants must understand that the program is a stepping-stone to Permanent Housing and Employment, in order for the person to become independent. The candidate will reside without paying for rent, utilities or meals. Residents receive weekly case management, employment search assistance in our in house computer lab, referrals to temporary rent subsidies programs, teach structure and life skills, in-house mental health and counseling, and assistance/ referral with any other needed services or support.
