El Monte Street Outreach

The Street Outreach team will serve at least 150 participants annually. The team will identify and provide supportive services to chronically homeless individuals in SPA three (3) including severely mentally ill, chronic substance abuser, veterans and persons with HIV/AIDS.

El Monte Access Center

The El Monte Access & Outreach Center offers homeless services to individuals and families who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness. The Family Solutions Center and First Five Los Angeles programs are also operated out of this facility and are incorporated in the above list of services offered. West Covina Community Center

Louis Dominguez Veteran Resource Center

Louis Dominguez Veteran Resource Center is located in San Pedro, CA.  The center serves qualified veterans from all walks of life secure transitional housing and on-site specialized support that includes case management, food, life skills counseling, employment referrals, financial assistance, and help with obtaining VA benefits.

Transitional Living Center

TLC includes intensive weekly case management, life skills education and a savings plan. Clients must be looking for work or working (or volunteering) or in school/doing homework from 8am-4pm.

Pomona Cold Winter Shelter

Transition House (T-House)

Drug Court Program

DUI Program

SCADP DUI department operates multiple other offender programs including Wet Reckless and 1st Offender. Central City Recovery

Residential Treatment for your substance-use disorder, the program ranges from 30 to 120 days depending on medical necessity and the need of a controlled environment to establish a foundation for recovery. Our co-ed program provides an evidence-based trauma-informed care model of utilizing cognitive behavior therapy and motivational interviewing. Program emphasis includes instruction on developing coping and life skills allowing each individual to maintain a healthy, productive lifestyle and overcome the stress and barriers to successful daily living. We provide wrap-around services including assessments, individual and group therapy and counseling, treatment planning, case management and referrals. All potential patients must have or qualify for Medi-Cal or My Health LA coverage within Los Angeles County. SHAWL

SHAWL (Support for Harbor Area Women’s Lives) is a residential recovery program comprised of three facilities that provide temporary housing and supportive services for women.

SHAWL Women’s House is a six-month residential recovery program for 13 homeless, addicted women who are survivors of Domestic Violence. SHAWL provides comprehensive services and treatment in a warm and supportive atmosphere for women who are attempting to end their addiction, live a life free from violence and become self-sufficient. SHAWL provides the structure and support in a nurturing residential setting. The program provides the residents with opportunities, information and confidence to remain drug and alcohol free. SHAWL gives the women an opportunity to improve their life and educational skills, time to explore destructive behavior patterns and learn new decision making skills in order to work toward stability as well as independence in their lives.

Haviland House is a transitional housing facility that aids women as they are transitioning from the primary 6-month program.  Provides 11 women a safe and comfortable drug, alcohol and violence-free atmosphere where they can remain an additional 18 months to two years while they are in school and employed and can continue their case management plans to maintain ongoing sobriety and freedom from homelessness and domestic violence.

The Cottages are transitional housing facilities that aid women as they are transitioning from the primary 6-month program. The program allows a woman to live in a drug-free, violence free home with her children while working toward her self-sufficiency goals. The Cottages can hold up to 4 women and 4 children in two, two-bedroom duplexes. Residents can remain at The Cottages for 18 months to two years while they are employed, going to school or both. Residents can continue their case management plans to maintain their recovery.

Southern California Alcohol and Drug Program

Program provides residential Substance Use Disorder treatment to homeless men and men with a long history of criminality. La Casita

Southern California Alcohol and Drug Program

Residential treatment facility provides Substance Use Disorder treatment for mothers with their children, as well as pregnant and postpartum in a residential setting. The program combines substance use treatment, counseling services, life skills, onsite employment development, healthy meal planning with a dietician and parenting education, while also providing counseling services to the children residing within the program. Program services are extended to all members of the family.

La Casita is a member of the Los Angeles County Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System provider network. As a Certified Drug Medi-Cal Provider, the program provides residential Substance Use Disorder treatment to women and their children.

La Casita first opened in April 1996 as a demonstration project funded by the federal government to provide substance abuse treatment for women and their children. La Casita is a peri-natal residential program.

Angel Step Too

This is a 6-month program designed to address co-occurring issues of substance abuse and domestic violence. This program is a second step for DV victims who are in an emergency shelter. The program provides comprehensive DV trauma counseling, Substance Use Disorder treatment, life skills, and job skills assistance for women and their children in a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Angel Step Too is a member of the Los Angeles County Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System provider network. As a Certified Drug Medi-Cal Provider, Angel Step Too provides residential Substance Use Disorder treatment to women and their children.

Angel Step Inn – DV Shelter

Southern California Alcohol and Drug Program

Emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children. The program is a 45-day transitional shelter that provides a place of escape and safety for victims fleeing domestic violence who are also dealing with substance use disorders. Stabilize and protect clients and their children. Educate clients and their children about domestic violence. Provide viable resources and referrals for additional services and safe housing. 45 days emergency domestic violence shelter. Although no substance use treatment is offered on this site, referrals for outpatient or residential treatment are available. Transitional housing referrals are made when client exits the facility.

Angel Step Inn was established by SCADP in 1995 as the first domestic violence emergency shelter in California for battered, substance-addicted women and their children. The program has a static capacity of 30 beds. The emergency shelter is located in Los Angeles County and is funded through the California Office of Emergency Services, the Emergency Housing and Assistance Program, and the City of Los Angeles Housing and Community Investment Department.

Angel Step Inn provides shelter and a 45-day dual focus program of substance abuse treatment and domestic violence counseling for women with co-morbid battering and Substance Use Disorders. Our emergency shelters provide on-site Substance Abuse education, case management, linkage and transportation to social services, as well as discharge planning for transition to safe or permanent housing.
